such an odd short life

Will I ever get bored with "Pathologic" contests..? So the task was to portray Lara Ravel, a philanthropist and benefactress, in all her ultimate kindness. To tell the truth, it was a challenge for me, because to my mind she is not so kind, yet still self-sacrificing (literally) and terribly unhappy. Oh well.

One life, five stupid questions not to be answered:
- with her father, Guards Captain Ravel.
"Where is my Mommy?" (sorry, my dear, she doesn't seem to want me or you, that's why she's not here)
- seeing the Captain off to the train.
"Will Dad return home when the war ends?" (sorry, girl, no good luck for you, he will never be back)
- reading the "deserted and was shot" note.
"How come my father turns to be a coward?" (sorry, love, let's hope he had some other reason to desert)
- confessing her obscure wishes to her friends - a former circus actress and a suffragette.
"Maybe things will change for the better if I assassinate the General?" (sorry, sister, we don't really care what you do since you're useless anyway)
- not daring to speak up in front of the General.
"Do you prefer to be executed by a firing squad, like your father?" (sorry, General, I feel really bad now, I don't hate you or something, you just look too much like him)
